3 powerful actions to connect with your dreams
Attaining your dream life can seem impossible, especially if you’ve worked and worked and it’s just not happening.
But there is an easier way to connect with the life of your dreams, and it has nothing to do with how many times you’ve tried and “failed.”
It’s all about frequency and our connection with the creative force that is “the source" (you might call it God, Yahweh, Allah, the Goddess - it’s all the same).
So, here are my three tips for connecting with the dream life you KNOW you deserve:
Attaining your dream life can seem impossible, especially if you’ve worked and worked and it’s just not happening.
But there is an easier way to connect with the life of your dreams, and it has nothing to do with how many times you’ve tried and “failed.”
It’s all about frequency and our connection with the creative force that is “the source" (you might call it God, Yahweh, Allah, the Goddess - it’s all the same).
So, here are my three tips for connecting with the dream life you KNOW you deserve:
Step 1: Believe in your connection to a higher power/source. Make choices that radiate the power within you that is always connected to - and part of - the power that creates.
We are all one, and I don’t mean that figuratively. We are one with the power that creates all that is in our world and universe and whatever is beyond that.
Science has proven that there is an underlying wave nature to reality that gives birth to everything we see, feel, experience, and anything else. It’s called quantum potential, and it’s truly just potential. It’s just wave until we interact with it and allow things to pop forth from our own personal choices and the frequency of those choices.
That means that you aren’t just sitting around for things to happen to you or not. It isn’t just a game of luck or fate. You are PART of the force that creates everything in the universe.
Looking at it that way, take that power seriously. Make all your choices with the awareness that you are literally helping to create that experience. Is that an experience that you want to create? Is it one that seems like it is in alignment with the life of your dreams? Is it in experience that uplifts the world? Or depletes it?
The choice is yours. The power is yours. Use it wisely.
Step 2: Take all actions based on the frequencies matching what you desire to bring into being.
Since we are all connected to and part of quantum potential at every moment, that also means that, under it all, we are waves floating around at our own frequency and affecting the frequency of the entire universe with the actions, words, and thoughts we send out.
The frequency of those things actually affects the entire universe and what you experience in your life.
Because of that, you aren’t separate from the life of your dreams. You aren’t separate from anything you desire in your life. You can’t be, because no wave is separate from all the other waves. It’s impossible to be disconnected.
So, when you think anything, it’s a radio signal that creates a frequency that either tunes you in to the life of your dreams, or away from it. When you speak, you are creating a vibration that either resonates with all the good you want in the world, or it resonates with negativity. When you take actions, they are either of the frequency that aligns you with the life of your dreams, or away from it.
If you want to shift the quality of your life, shift your thoughts, words, and actions to be in alignment with how you would feel if you had all of that in your life right now. How would you act if you were living the life of your dreams? What would you think? What would your life look like? How would you dress?
Take actions mindfully. Take actions that align with the way you want to feel when you are living the life of your dreams. Take actions that align with how you want the world to be.
Do that over and over and you ARE aligning with the life you desire. The more you align, the more things pop into being in your life that show you that you are on the right path.
Step 3: Believe that the life you desire is already in reality, because it is. Stay steadfast in that belief. Let it flow into being however it chooses to.
One thing that I struggle with is allowing enough room in my personal goals to allow experiences that may be different than what I thought I wanted, but are, more often than not, even better.
I get an idea in my head that the life of my dreams HAS to look like this or feel like that or be like this exact thing.
You (I) gotta let go of that.
You have to set your intentions and take your actions in alignment with the general frequency of what you desire, then allow enough room to RECEIVE experiences that match that. If you are always focused on only ONE thing being THE thing, then there is no room for the universe/quantum potential/the source/a higher power to bring in things that match that frequency (and might be even more awesome!), but aren’t that exact thing.
So, sometimes stop doing. Stop focusing on only that one thing. Take a breath and know that when you align your thoughts, words, actions, and emotions with the life you desire, your desires are being co-created with the source by you and with you. They may not look exactly as you thought they would, but if you allow them, they will be exactly what you really wanted.
If you’d like to dive deeper into this, I will be opening my Manifest Your Dream Life Academy this week; it will to be totally free - it’s my gift to help more and more people raise their own frequency, life the life of their dreams, and raise the frequency of the whole world so our whole world is living better, too.

3 Ways to Know that You Are (Finally) Ready to Make a Change
Every person has had that moment where they have decided that they just cannot put up with a situation anymore and must make a change. However, getting to that point - or finally knowing that you are ready - can be challenging. How do you know that you are ready for change? These three signs will tell you:
Every person has had that moment where they have decided that they just cannot put up with a situation anymore and must make a change. However, getting to that point - or finally knowing that you are ready - can be challenging. How do you know that you are ready for change? These three signs will tell you:
1. You get angry at things you used to just put up with.
Day after day, you slog along in a job you hate, dealing with a boss you despise, and working with co-workers that drive you crazy. You put up with it, telling yourself that you need the job, that it’s not that bad, that it doesn’t actually crush your soul. One day, your boss sends you yet another request for the same information you have provided 10 times before. She’s done this hundreds of times, and hundreds of times, you have begrudgingly given her what she’s asked for. This time, you can’t stand it anymore and write a furious e-mail giving her a piece of your mind.
Not only is this possibly a career-ending move, it also lets you know that you are finally ready to make a change. While many people see anger as a negative emotion, it is often the indicator that you are finally sick of putting up with your current situation you or relationship and are ready to move on.
For me, I can distinctly remember the moment that I knew I had to end an engagement. My fiance was yelling about God-knows-what yet again, and I was raising my voice to yell back, “Shut UP!” It dawned on me that I don’t believe in resolving conflict by yelling, yet here I was, yelling to be heard. Right then and there, I knew I needed to make a change.
Going forward today, check in with yourself. Which long-standing situations in your life are finally making you angry? What about situations that have caused anger for a long time? Make note of these, and know that you are ready to make different choices.
2. Instead of dreaming about a new life, you begin planning for it.
I cannot tell you how many people I work with that tell me their life dreams and then qualify them, saying things like, “I have been dreaming of this my whole life.” or “I have always wanted to do this.” Of course, right after that usually comes, “But...”
Dreaming is a wonderful and definitely necessary part of moving forward authentically in life, but too many people get stuck there. Dreams without actions just don’t come true.
Have you begun reading books about how to do the things you dream of? Have you signed up for classes or other experiences that would assist you on your path? Have you begun creating a list of things that you need in order to be successful? Then you have taken critical steps forward. You are ready to move from dreaming to acting.
If you are at this point, you will also notice a critical shift in the way you speak about your dreams. Instead of saying, “I need to,” “I’d like to,” or “I wish I could,” you will begin saying, “I have to,” “I am ready to,” or “I am.” Notice that one set of words are “dream” or “future” words, while the others are “action” or “immediate” words.
When you finally shift from imagining yourself in a new life to actually planning for how you can make that dream happen and speaking about those actions in the present, you know you are ready to move forward.
3. The perceived pain of making a change seems far less than the pain of staying where you are.
For many people, the pain of leaving a bad relationship or job is so intense that they just stay for years. After all, they might be miserable, but it’s better to “deal with the devil you know.” right?
For some, I suppose it is. However, there will come a time when you literally cannot take the situation you are in anymore. Perhaps you notice that you have aches and pains, or get sick more often or more seriously than you used to. Maybe you are completely drained of energy after being on the job or with the person in question, and do not have energy to do things you love to do.
It’s at that point that the scales have swung in favor of making a change. While every major life change comes with its challenges, when the pain and exhaustion of the situation you are in has become overwhelming, you are at the critical point. If you have said to yourself, “I have to end this,” “I cannot take it anymore,” or “I am over this,” you are ready to make a change.
Take inventory of situations in your life that are draining you or making you sick. How much more do you think you can put up with? Have you hit that critical tipping point where making a change is more appealing than putting up with more of the same? If you are at the end of your rope and feel that change is more positive than staying stuck, you are ready to make a shift!
Are you in a situation now that you need to get out of? What is the situation? Do you think you are ready to change?
The Life Shift Crisis: When is a Breakdown Really a Breakthrough?
“I just don’t know what’s wrong with me.” “I don’t feel like doing anything; I just want to be alone.” “Nothing seems right about my life right now. My family, friends, and work just don’t seem to fit me anymore.” “My emotions are all over the place; one day I feel like crying, the next I am totally numb.” Do any of these statements sound like you? Are you in the process of a major mind, body, or life change? If so, you may be going through the “dark night of the soul.” The good news is that it’s actually a sign that you are on the right track.

Do any of these statements sound like you? Are you in the process of a major mind, body, or life change? If so, you may be going through the “dark night of the soul.” The good news is that it’s actually a sign that you are on the right track.
Making a major life change tunes you into a higher, much more aware way of living. While this is for your best, the adjustment to this higher level means that your current beliefs, identity, groups, work, and relationships no longer fit the person that you now know yourself to be. Everything that you know as your life and your comfort zone becomes challenged. You may deal with discomfort, depression, and maybe even a true spiritual crisis, often described as a “dark night of the soul.”
While this process can feel uncomfortable, it is often a strong indication that you are shifting to become truly powerful and in tune with most positive aspects of life.
I went through just such a spiritual crisis in the process of rearranging my life to do my heart’s work and live my life purpose. Let me tell you, it is not necessarily a pleasant experience. I didn’t feel like getting up in the morning. I knew that my own mission in life was “to help others and heal their pain,” and I felt a deep calling to do so, but I did not know how best to express myself in the world. I felt so irritated by everything that I had once seen as comfortable that I wanted to just hide myself away from everyone and everything. Nothing seemed to fit me anymore; the things that I used to enjoy were now completely unfulfilling.
As you begin your journey to your most authentic, happy, and healthy self, you may find yourself going through your own “dark night of the soul.” Caught up in this transition, you may begin wondering if you will ever find your way. You may feel abandoned by life, as everything that you trust and know seems to shake up or disappear all together. You may feel shocked that you are not able to accept the same behavior from others that you once considered normal.
Perhaps most difficult, you may feel conflicted about moving forward with your plans to better yourself and your life. Part of you may feel excited, because something within you is ready to move forward. After all, your spirit has wanted you to be your truest, most fulfilled self all along. However, another part of you may rebel, perhaps due to a long-standing resistance to change. Worrying thoughts may creep up, such as, “What will I have to leave behind? What if I am crazy? What if I do this and totally mess up my life?” Worse yet, these feelings may be amplified by other people in your life, especially those who have some interest in keeping you as you are today. Of course, this outside reinforcement of your innate fear will only amplify it.
When this happens (or if it is happening now), take a deep breath. Remember that you are never lost, and you are never abandoned by life or a higher power (however you define such a force)—you are one with the potential of the entire universe. Whether you know it or not, you are being guided forward on a path that is right for you. This is especially true when you have made the courageous decision to change your life.
If you feel lost, unsure, or overwhelmed, go to the life purpose pages and find your true calling. Then, choose to connect with the positive emotions that you feel when you know who you are and why you are here. While connected to these emotions, ask yourself: “Do I want to choose fear and cling to a life that doesn’t suit me anymore? Or do I want to move forward with faith and connect to a fulfilling life where I make a real contribution to the world?”
The choice becomes very clear.
Trust your calling and your connection to all that is and move forward, bravely choosing to make choices and create a life that is in tune with your highest callings and deepest dreams. Take time each day to connect with the oneness of the universe through prayer, meditation, or simply sitting in nature. Feel the truth that you always fit into all that is, and that there is a plan at work that is bringing you positive new experiences in alignment with your conscious transformation. Allow yourself to reconnect with your inner sense of purpose, be grateful for your creative power, and trust that you will have all that you need provided for you.
When you have the faith in yourself to change your life for the better, you resonate with the power of love of self and of others. The most noble thing that you can do is to use your unique energy and talents in a way that betters the world for all of us. Not only will you be emotionally fulfilled (no matter what anyone thinks of your decisions), you will make a difference in the lives of all you meet.
The Flow Method Questions for Introspection:
1. Do you feel full-body tired or depressed? Do you feel disconnected from everything around you? Can you see where a shift in your beliefs may have caused this change in your life? Do the people and things of your old life fit who you truly are? If not, know that while these experiences no longer fit you, you will bring others into your life that match your new way of being exactly.
Retuning Statement/Affirmation: “I am always connected to everyone and everything. I trust that I am moving forward into a better life for myself.” Use this statement throughout the day, especially when you are feeling unsure or overwhelmed, to begin retuning your mind, body, and spirit into a new reality.
2. Do others in your life put forth fear or judgment about the life that you need to lead in order to be healthy, happy, and empowered? Do you feel shaky or depressed when being around these people?
If this is an issue for you, limit your exposure to these people. When you are around them, focus on your breath. While breathing in and out slowly, mentally repeat, “I trust myself. I have the right to live an empowered, joyful life.”
